My filter is boring but it has saved me. I never deposit more than I would happily lose on a slow Friday, and I set a deposit cap on day one before I even look at the games. Offshore means if they decide to be difficult about a withdrawal there is nobody local to email. That changes how much you should ever have sitting in an account.
