Small test deposit at a new site, how it went

Logging this one because I keep telling people to test small and I should show my own working. New offshore site, launched earlier this year, Anjouan licence. All offshore, no local UAE licence means anything, usual disclaimer.

Card deposit declined instantly, MCC block, no surprise. Switched to USDT, 50 USDT in via TRC20, landed in about 4 minutes. Played some slots, nothing dramatic, ended up around 80.

Then the actual test, the withdrawal. Requested 70 USDT back out. They asked for ID verification first, photo of passport only, approved in maybe 90 minutes. Payout itself hit my wallet about an hour after that. So call it two and a half hours start to finish, clean, no invented friction.

One pass doesn't prove a site is safe at scale, a 70 USDT cashout is not a 7000 one. But it's a green flag worth more than any review. If you want the full vetting checklist there's the credible vs scam thread. Keep test money to what you'd happily lose either way.

This is exactly the right method. The small first cashout is the only honest signal because it's your account, your funds, your timing.

One thing I'd add, do a slightly bigger second test before trusting it properly. Some sites pay the small one fast to earn confidence, then the real friction shows up at the first three or four figure withdrawal. Two clean cashouts, one small one bigger, is when I start to relax.

Helpful, thanks. Newbie question, when you say TRC20 you mean the Tron network for the USDT right? I nearly sent on the wrong network once and panicked.

Also is 90 minutes for ID approval normal? Sounds quick to me but I've only done this a couple of times on weekends.

Sam yes, TRC20 is Tron, cheap fees and fast, just triple check the network matches on both ends or the funds vanish. 90 minutes for KYC on a new site is good actually, the bad ones drag it across days.

Marcus solid write up. The detail that matters is they asked for ID before paying out rather than only inventing it at cashout, that's the order a non scammy site does it in. Still wouldn't park a big balance on something this new.
